Shipping policy

Delivery charge is £6.99 for mainland locations in the United Kingdom

Cakes are delivered on your chosen delivery date using the calendar during the checkout process.

We will try every effort to ensure delivery is on your chosen date, however in very rare circumstances due to courier delays, extreme weather conditions there is sometimes a delay in receiving your order. Sari Cakes are not responsible for any delays out of our control, or for any delays made by the courier.

We use trusted couriers, most commonly DPD who will email and text you with delivery details and tracking information. They usually will send you an hour time slot in which your cake order will be delivered. 

 

We recommend you order the cake for delivery a couple of days before it is required, just to prevent any unforeseen delays. Plus the cakes keep well for many days so it is better to have the cake in your possession the day, or days before it is required. 

 

We can also deliver on Saturdays and Sunday. Please email the team for any special requests after placing your order. 

 

We can also accomodate last minute requests, however as all the cakes are made to order, we suggest you give us as much notice as possible. 

Cakes are sent via our courier partners on a premium next day service across the UK.

 

Courier Deliveries are made Monday - Saturday, 9am - 6pm excluding public holidays.

Offshore locations, and deliveries to Europe cost more, please email rish@saricakes.com for accurate pricing. 

Isle of Man/ Jersey : £15

Scottish Highlands:  £18

 

We will also offer free deliveries if you are based in West London near the bakery.

Sponge cakes will stay fresh for a minimum of one week from delivery, Fruit cakes last much longer. 

 

Due to the perishable nature of our cake products we are not allowed to accept any returns.
